We're an independent mountain store located in beautiful Boulder, Colorado. Our dedication is to human powered enjoyment of the mountain world - principally climbing, nordic skiing, and alpine touring in all their many forms.
For over 37 years, the name Neptune has been well known to climbing and skiing enthusiasts all over planet Earth.

Biology, Ecology, and Policy on Open Space & Mountain Parks. The BCC would like to welcome OSMP Biologists Rick Hatfield and Burton Stoner to Neptune Mountaineering. Rick and Burt will present information on the local wildlife found in the parks and how their biology effects policies on access and climbing closures. If you have ever been interested or concerned about wildlife and access, or have questions about the many interesting living things in the parks, please bring your curiosity and questions to the show.
Cliffs, Canyons, and Climbers, Protecting our desert playground. The majestic cliffs and towers of southern Utah's Greater Canyonlands region have long been a draw for climbers. Join Lynn Hill and Crusher Bartlett for an exploration of desert climbing and our responsibility to protect the places where we play. Hosted by the Boulder Climbing Community, Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance, and Coloradans for Utah Wilderness.
