Welcome to Neptune Mountaineering
We're an independent mountain store located in beautiful Boulder, Colorado. Our dedication is to human powered enjoyment of the mountain world - principally climbing, nordic skiing, and alpine touring in all their many forms.
For over 35 years, the name Neptune has been well known to climbing and skiing enthusiasts all over planet Earth.
We are proud to announce that we are selling products online. The products online are select choices that Gary Neptune and the staff have used, beaten and thrashed. Don't worry, no employees were harmed in the process. We did surprise a few companies after we "tested" their gear.

Verdon River Gorge, France
presented by Sam Elias and Keith Ladzinski
This slideshow, sponsored by Millet and Rock & Ice, will be an interactive experience
of the Verdon River Gorge in the south of France given by climber Sam Elias
and Photographer Keith Ladzinski. It has been called "Grand Canyon of Europe,"
because of its flawless 1000ft limestone walls that meander for miles. It will
be both from the individual perspective of our trip, but also from a historical
perspective, as it is one of the oldest established climbing areas in the world.
It is an area that has supported and been witness to the birth and development
of modern climbing styles, and it is still to this day one of the most unique
and amazing crags in the entire world. Each person who attends the show
will receive a raffle ticket and a chance to win a Millet Prolight 45L backpack.
