8mm HMPE Sling

Sewn sling. The body of the sling is black! The ends of the bar tacked area are stitched down flat to prevent snags. The sling is made of tubular HMPE webbing which improves handling and makes untying knots easier than with flat webbing.

The combination of materials used in the sling significantly improves its resistance and durability. The central part of the sling, in black, is made of HMPE (high modulus polyethylene), an extraordinarily light material with high tensile strength. Both sides of the sling have been reinforced with a polyamide outline, distinguished by its length indicator color, and known for its high abrasion resistance. This careful choice of materials optimizes the performance of the sling, making it extremely light and resistant to both friction and abrasion.

Rated to 22 kN. The sling can withstand high impact loads and has exceptional resistance to abrasion, superior to that of a nylon sling. Its versatile and flexible design makes this an indispensable piece for setting up quick-draws or building anchors.

Recommended for all types of climbing including: mountaineering, multi-pitch, trad climbing and ice climbing.
