Join Neptune Mountaineering and The Elevated Alpine for a celebration of women in the mountains. Get inspired by rad women pushing the limits of their sports, connect with ladies getting after it in your community, and discover films featuring women breaking boundaries and discovering new heights.
Featuring iconic ski mountaineers Hilaree Nelson and Kit DesLauriers, professional splitboarder and climate activist Alex Showerman, and AMGA Rock and Ski guide Mia Tucholke.

Tickets: $15, proceeds from the event benefit Women's Wilderness.
Each ticket includes two free raffle tickets for amazing door prizes from Tecnica-Blizzard, Colorado Mountain School, Dynafit, and Scott, (raffle prizes must be picked up in store). Plus, get two bonus raffle tickets when you visit Neptune the week of the event.

About Our Guests
Hilaree Nelson was the first female to link two-8,000 meter peaks (Everest and Lhotse), skied the first descent of Lhotse, and holds dozens of other first descents and ascents. She is a National Geographic Adventurer of the Year, the Captain of The North Face Athlete team, and a mother to two sons.

Kit DesLauriers is a two-time World Freeskiing Champion, National Geographic Adventurer of the Year, the first person to have skied the Seven Summits, and the first woman to have skied Everest. She is a member of the Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame, a mother to two daughters, and an active volunteer for the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and the Protect Our Winters Riders Alliance.

Alex Showerman is a climate activist, splitboard athlete for Weston, and badass mountain biker. She has led lobby and advocacy efforts for Protect Our Winters, works with brands to create values-driven marketing, and creates inclusive and supportive communities.

Mia Tucholke is an AMGA Certified Rock and Ski Guide, AIARE Instructor, and PSIA Ski Instructor with 30+ years of guiding experience. She has extensive experience climbing high peaks across North America and in the Himalaya, and currently resides in Vail Colorado.

Women’s Wilderness is a unique organization that specializes in empowering girls wilderness programs. They are the ONLY nonprofit in the nation that also has programming for women and the LGBTQ+ community. They believe girls from all backgrounds and income levels should have access to the transformative power of the great outdoors and have have never turned away a girl in financial need.
